Testimonials

At 74 years old, I never imagined I would be riding a bicycle again. The last time I rode was when I was 10 years old, and for decades I thought that chapter of my life had passed me by. Learning again felt intimidating at first, but Coach Sha made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. Her patience, encouragement, and belief in me helped me overcome my fears and build confidence one step at a time. She never rushed me and always celebrated every bit of progress along the way.  After five lessons with Coach Sha, I am now riding on the Westside BeltLine, something I never thought would be possible. What she gave me was much more than bicycle skills. She gave me confidence, freedom, and the joy of accomplishing a lifelong goal. Coach Sha is a gifted teacher who truly cares about her students. If you're nervous, haven't ridden in years, or think it's too late to learn, I'm living proof that it's not. Taking lessons with her has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in years. - Jackie of Grant Park

My son (age 11) and I(age 30 something lol) came to Atlanta Bicycle Classes never having learned to ride and feeling nervous. I was afraid of falling and looking dumb lol. From the start, Coach Shakeesha created a calm, comfortable space where we could focus and repeat skills without pressure. Her teaching approach was gliding first to build balance, plus breathwork, constant encouragement, and live feedback made all the difference. In just two sessions each, we both learned to ride! That first independent pedal stroke felt incredible with the wind on my face and a surge of confidence. Honestly, it reminded me that I can do anything. Coach Sha made the process clear and easy with no confusion. If you’re an adult who’s scared or embarrassed to try, please go to Atlanta Bicycle Classes. You can do anything too. We’ll never forget this experience. Thank you, Coach Sha and Atlanta Bicycle Classes! - Crystal of East Point

Coach Shakeesha worked her magic with my son. Her kind, relaxed, very present style and skills were a perfect match. He’s proud and thrilled to be riding a bike now!
We’ll finally have a new family activity — and he already asked how far from home he can go! I know you probably hear this all the time, but I had to share — thank you!”
